Camp Information

Camp Rules: 

o Camp and home-stay rules apply in accordance with Lions Youth Exchange Policy and International Youth Camp Policy. 

o Internet is not available at Camp Krokodile. 

o Camp Krokodile is a drug and alcohol-free event. Anyone caught breaking this rule will immediately be excluded from camp activities.

Location: 

o Currimundi – Queensland – Australia. One hour from the State Capital of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast. 

o Short walk to Pacific Ocean surf beaches 

Language and Health: 

o English is the official language of the Camp. 

o Participants should have moderate or good language skills 

o Participants should be fit and healthy and able to participate in physical activities 

Climate: 

o Camp Krokodile is held during the Australian winter time 

o Temperatures are mild and vary from 14oC to 22oC during the day and from 5oC to 10oC at night. 

o Warm clothes may be required at night with a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen recommended during the day. 

Camp Facilities: 

o Cabins hold up to 12 campers in two rooms who share an ensuite bathroom. All linen is provided. Cabins will be allocated on a Male Only/Female Only basis 

o Meals are provided from a well equipped kitchen with everything provided. 

o Convection heater with control in each room and a fully automatic washing machine and dryer is provided. 

o A surf beach is within walking distance so bring your swimming costume and an extra towel.
